Last Wednesday, the Turkish daily Hurriyet reported that Mossad warned Turkey that Israeli diplomatic missions in the country could be the target of attacks, quoting a story aired on NTV news, in which it was reported that Israel's main intelligence agency sent a letter to the National Intelligence Agency saying that the "Iranian Revolutionary Guards-Quds Force" is preparing to attack Israelis in Turkey
According to the report, four individuals have already "entered Turkey from Iran" with weapons and the materials to carry out the alleged attacks on Israeli diplomats.
Israeli diplomats have recently been targeted abroad. The wife of an Israeli diplomat was moderately wounded when a car bomb exploded outside of Israel's embassy in the Indian capital of New Delhi last month. That same day there was also an attempted attack on Israel's embassy in Georgia, but the car bomb was identified in time.
